Summer’s almost over.. NOOOOOO! another vacation gone too quickly. Let’s end it well. My family, relatives and I went on a Big Bear adventure; if you’ve been to Big Bear when it’s not covered with a thick blanket of snow, it feels kinda funny. As if something is missing.. it’s just really weird to see huge patches of dirt where the snow is supposed to be. But the lake isn’t frozen so it’s purty nice.

Even though it’s summer and global warming and whatnot, the air’s still cold up here.. good thing I brought a jacket.

I also brought my bike. I saw a bunch of cyclists passing by while we were driving up the mountain. It made me think of the Tour de France. Except it’s Tour de Big Bear. We should do that sometime.. who wants to bike at Big Bear?!

Remember the ski lifts that you were deathly afraid of because it’s too hard to slide off at the end and you end up falling while dragging everybody down with you? Well, it’s pretty easy to get on and off now because there’s no ice. They have a huge wheeled-sled (the yellow thing) track that you can go down.

This thing goes fast as hell.

Looks like somebody didn’t read the warning sign. This is my cousin, Danny. He flipped over while going down the tube track thing. And got owned.

They actually have a lot of things to do up here during the summer. Here’s a picture of my dad and brother stuck in a go-kart. Observe the fear on my brother’s face.

Eh, the mini golf sucked.

The fate of the White Pearl and the crew on deck was in good hands. I must admit, I am quite the boat driver.

Our uncle was way too happy about this.. now he wants to buy a boat.

A cloudy day at the beach…

I got my camera wet because a huge ass wave came all the way to shore and raped everybody in sight.

Steak at the beach… = bomb. Oh, and weenies. Thanks, Chef Lee!

I’ve come to the conclusion that along with the jerks and douchebags that inhabit this world, there are enough nice people to even it out. Like this guy and his wife: they gave us a bunch of firewood and even helped us light the fire because we were unprepared and useless. Except me of course, I am definitely not useless.

Charcoal + Wood = ART. Richard’s art, that is.

Remember when we were younger and first learned how to ride a bike?

This is my brother, Steven. At the age of 4, he learned to ride a bike within 10 minutes. Today = milestone.

I apologize for the lack of updates.. I haven’t been carrying my camera around lately. Well, here’s one.

Destination: Wherever our legs take us.

The crew: Frank, Canada and me.

However, we encountered some technical difficulties before our late night adventures began…

Good to go. Our first destination..

…and in the (women’s) bathroom. CHECK THAT OUT, PEDALCONSUMPTION. Bet nobody’s ever done that before.

**Highlight of the night: As Canada proceeded to refresh himself on top of this sign.. in public.. we saw a car coming.. and it just happened to be a police car. So we boned the hell out as fast as we could. Whew.

Aaand we somehow ended up in Downtown Fullerton. It’s pretty wild there at night; all those middle aged men and women gettin their freak on in the clubs and bars. Mm mm, doesn’t get any better than that.

I am currently working on a project…

I present to you this empty wall next to my bed.

It will soon(?) be completely covered with 4″x6″ photo prints.. pictures that I have taken/pictures from my camera (idea from the lovely E.T.<3).

Who knows, you just might be special enough to be put up on my wall.. just kidding. But seriously, you might be in one of them.. I’ll keep you guys updated.
